This web site is a digital platform for having up-to-date information on RECs. The coordination of inter rec actions is functional 
with the signing of the inter Rec aggreement   which  represents a significant step forward in cooperation and collaboration between these different regions. The Inter RECs Platform aims to strengthen the links of solidarity and commercial exchanges between the different economic blocs of Africa, with the ultimate aim of promoting the economic and social development of the continent.

In addition to facilitating trade, the Inter RECs Platform Declaration also strengthens cooperation on security and regional stability. The heads of state and government committed to working jointly to prevent and resolve conflicts, thereby strengthening peace and security on the continent.
